When one sees the image above, we ask: is he pulling, or is he being pulled?
I question this as well when I do oil pulling in the morning.
Because, when I woke up this morning, I felt perfectly fine with no symptoms of runny nose or phlegm production.
Those symptoms only developed immediately after I oil pulled. My nose become runny and I started to generate alot of phlegm, which I coughed out for the next 10-20 minutes after oil pulling.
Another noteworthy highlight is that the symptoms appear to be less severe after each passing day.
So, is this technique really “pulling” my illness/toxins out of me? (Healing crisis symptoms as described by many pro oil pulling followers)
Or, is this technique allergic to me, and thus creating an inflammatory/mucous production within me, which subsides after the oil was spitted out (removal of allergen) and I become perfectly fine for the rest of the day.
Whatever the cause, the only way to find out is for me to consistently oil pull for a good duration of time.
If I am allergic to this technique, I should be always having the same reactions every morning, without fail.
If it is indeed a healing crisis, there should come a point when I do not experience anymore of this runny nose and mucous production by virtue of my body being cleaner.
I guess this hypothesis could be a good starting point for me to test. What do you think?
